    The Canon VIXIA HF M40 Flash Memory HD Camcorder is quite similar to the Canon VIXIA HF M41 Flash Memory HD Camcorder except that it only has 16GB of internal memory. It has dual memory card slots that is SDXC compatible and has the same 1/3″ CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC DV III image processor that both work together to create stunning, detailed and life-like images that you will enjoy on your HDTV.

    The HF M40’s lens uses Canon’s genuine 10x HD video lens and sports the same optical image stabilization and other user-friendly, powerful features that the M41 boasts of. If you want higher quality audio for your movies, you can choose to use an external mic (or headphone) over its enhanced built in enhanced mic. Plus, you get 4 different recording directions namely, wide, stereo, monaural and synced with zoom that you can likewise adjust between low, mid to high frequencies.

    If ever you find yourself wanting to let the camera do its work, simply choose from a variety of shooting controls.
